Former Youth Minister Charles Kyle Adcock – Charged with rape and sodomy of a juvenile church member.
MUSCLE SHOALS – Former youth minister. Charles Kyle Adcock is waiting for his extradition hearing. He’s is being held in the Dallas County Jail after being arrested on Alabama rape charges.
Adcock is accused of multiple rapes of a girl under the age of 16, while he was employed by the church. According to the arrest information, the incidents took place between 2010 and 2012. The charges amount to at least 31 counts of rape and sodomy of the girl. According to police, the alleged incidents took place both at a private location as well as inside the church buildings.
Woodward Avenue Pastor Will Rushing told The Quad-Cities Daily that the church administration, none of whom were in office at the time of the alleged crimes, is committed to transparency.
