Funeral service for Zolar B. Williams Standridge, age 98, of Moulton will be Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Owens and Rev Richard Cassis officiating. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Standridge, who died Saturday, August 9, 2014, at NHC Healthcare of Moulton was born July 30, 1916, to William Joseph Williams and Augusta McAbee Williams. Her church of choice was Union Grove United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, John Taylor Standridge; four sisters, Florene Johnson, Ruby Standridge, Lola Mae Johnson and Arnell Owens; son-in-law, Lyndon W. Parker.
She is survived by a daughter, Sarah Josephine Standridge Parker; grandchildren, Rhonda Lynn Parker, Johnnie Sheila Black (Danny), Philip Trent Parker (Cheryl) and Richard Anthony Parker (Tammy); seven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and two stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family.
