Mr. Fulton was a native of Lauderdale County, AL, a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War receiving 2 Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star, a member of Carpenters Local 1209, a retired carpenter from TVA, and a member of Lexington United Methodist Church. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Lexington United Methodist Church. Sam Hayes will be officiating. Burial to follow in Pettus Cemetery with military honors given at the graveside. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Lexington United Methodist Church. Survivors include: 2 Sons- James Birdyshaw & wife Jana of Lawrenceburg, TN; Eddie Birdyshaw & wife Rita of Greenhill, AL; 1 Brother- Joe Fulton of CA; 5 Grandchildren- Barry Birdyshaw, Tara Tipper, Lindsey Oliver, Julia Collier, & Laura Svetkovich; Preceded in death by: Wife- Mary Fulton; In Lieu of flowers please make donations to Unity Hospice Care in Lawrenceburg, TN.
