Bill “Boots” Foote, 86, of Muscle Shoals passed away , Saturday August 2, 2014.
Visitation will be Tuesday August 5, 2014 from 12-1 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m.in the chapel. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens with no graveside service .Brother Brett Pittman is officiating.
He was preceded in death by his wife Olivia Foote and son Tolbert “Ken” Foote
Survivors are Son: Steve ( Patty ) Foote of Muscle Shoals, grandson: Brandon Foote (Gwen) Florence, Al., granddaughter; Bethany Lavecchia Muscle Shoals, Al. Great-grandchildren, Hayden, Livee, Carson, Carley Grace.
Sister: Ruby Leathers (Villia Rica, Ga.)
Mr. Foote was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. He loved to fish and enjoyed working on cars and Nascar Racing. He retired from Reynolds where he was a crane operator, and he was a member of the International Brotherhood of Local Electrical workers #558 for 51 years .
Mr. Foote was retired from the Army and a veteran of World War II.
