Funeral services for Paul Brooks, age 74, are scheduled for 3:00 PM Monday, July 28 in the chapel of Scottsboro Funeral Home in Scottsboro, Alabama with interment to follow in the Pine Haven Cemetery with military honors. Pafford Funeral Home of Scotts Hill is in charge of the local arrangements.
Mr. Brooks, the son of the late Ezra and Ida Powell Brooks, died Friday, July 25, 2014 in Parsons, Tennessee. He was an Army veteran and a retired manager / supervisor in the manufacturing industry.
Survivors include his three children: Paula Brooks Woody her husband Jeff and their children, Jordan and Mason of Decaturville; Amy Brooks Singleton her husband Chris and their children, Colby and Luke of Jackson; and Steve Brooks his wife Amy and their children, Colt and Cutler of Decaturville. Also surviving are his brothers: Lester Brooks of Stevenson, AL and Charles Brooks of Pisgah, AL and his sister, Frances Pearson of Stevenson, AL. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jean McCarver Brooks and his siblings: J.M, Richard, Kenneth and Irene Brooks.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 -6 PM at Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill.
