Geneva T. Evans, 89, of Huntsville, passed away Sunday. She was a native of Morgan County and lived in Madison County since 1941. Mrs. Evans was a member of the United Pentecostal church for 74 years, and a retired nurse and seamtress. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clay Evans; parents, Billy and Tamer Taylor; two sisters, Laverne Nichols and Mildred Hardy; and granddaughter, Tina Evans.
Mrs. Evans is survived by her two sons, Billy (Della) Evans and Thomas (Sheila) Evans; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 22nd from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Services will be Wednesday at Victory Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church, 2620 Blue Spring Rd., at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Troy Taylor officiating. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery.
