Ethel Clouse Smith – Obituary

Ethel Clouse Smith, 92, went to be with her Lord on Friday, July 19, 2014 at her home in the Shiloh community. She was born Feb. 23, 1922 in Fawn Grove to Jeff and Clara Lee Cockrell Clouse. She was a member of the Shiloh United Methodist Church. She was retired from Rosato Manufacturing where she was a seamstress.She enjoyed gardening, yard work, cooking for her family, and going to church. She loved her family and especially her Lord.

Services will be at 11:00 a. m. Tuesday at the McNeece – Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Rev. Ronnie Goodwin and Rev. Bobby Hankins officiating. Burial will be in the Fawn Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include three daughters, Nina Jones, Shelia Franks (Jimmy), and Sharon Pearce (Michael), all of Mantachie; one daughter-in-law, Marsha Smith of Rogers, ARK.; one sister, Estelle Keith (Gilbert) of Mooreville; eight grandchildren; twenty -three great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Smith; one son, David Smith; one grandson, Jason Franks; one sister, Mae Thornton; one brother-in-law, Paul Thornton; one daughter-n-law, Phyllis Smith; and her parents.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p. m. Monday at the funeral home in Mantachie.
