A private Memorial service for Kaye Compton Bates, 68, will be will be announced and held at a later date by her family.
Mrs. Bates died on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at her residence. She was born January 12, 1946, in Morgan County to John Olen Compton and Ruth Evans Compton. She was employed as a Librarian at the Hartselle Public Library. She was preceded in death by her parents.
