CHEROKEE – There is something really nice about a mid day get-together in a lovely home on a temperate Summer day. This was the scene Friday at the home of Bill and Nancy Giles where State Senator Roger Bedford was the Guest of Honor.
Town leaders, politicians and well-wishers shared barbecue and sweet tea. It was a perfect example of an elegant Southern soiree’. Senator Bedford and his wife Maudie were the center of attention as the Town leaders acknowledged all the help he has given over the years to this small West Colbert County town.
