Jonathan Edward Fuqua – Obituary

JonathanMr. Jonathan Edward Fuqua was born on October 11, 1979 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to Louis Fuqua Jr. II and the late Willie Ann Dailey Fuqua.  He entered into eternal rest of July 7, 2014 at the age of 34 at his residence in Madison, Alabama.

Jonathan confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined The Buffalo Road Seventh Day Adventist Church in Lawrenceburg, TN.  He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Willie Ann Fuqua and his grandmothers, Willie Louise Fuqua and Pauline Williams.

Jonathan received his formal education in the Lawrence County Tennessee School System and was a graduate of Lawrence County High School.  He was a United States Army Veteran that served four years and was honorable discharged.   He attended ITT Technical College in Nashville, TN and earned a degree in Computer Technology.

He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving and devoted father, Louis Fuqua Jr. II; brothers, Louis (Michelle) Fuqua Jr. III of Jonesboro, GA, William Fuqua of Pulaski, TN and Devontae Fuqua of Nashville, TN; sisters, Nancy (Rev. Dezi) Fletcher of Madison, Lisa (Greg) Olds of Pulaski, TN and Odella Fuqua of Champagne, IL; nephews, Rakeem Fuqua, Daniel Fuqua, Christine Fuqua and Dezi Flethcer Jr; one niece, Shaniqua Fletcher. A devoted Godmother Lillie Collier Frierson who he loved.

A Celebration of Life will be held at noon Saturday at Reynolds Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Reverend Dezi Fletcher Jr. officiating and inurnment will be held at a later date in Mt. Aratat Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
