Beatrice Maria Albright, 84, died Monday, July 7, 2014. Bea was a long-time resident of Huntsville and a member of St. Mary of the Visitation Parish. Bea was born in Munich, Germany to the late Franz and Beatrice Gmeiner and later immigrated to the United States in the early 1950’s. Two of her proudest moments were when she became an American citizen and when she was awarded the DAR Americanism Award. Bea was very fortunate in that her hobby and her job were one and the same. She was the Executive Director of the International Services Council for 30 years. Bea was happiest when helping other people. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, Charles Wesley Albright Jr. Survivors include her son: Wes Albright and daughter Karen Albright, both of Huntsville; her sister Waltraud (Heribert) Schmid of Germany, and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Shirley McCormick, Denise White, and Paula Erskine. Visitation will be at Berryhill Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 9 from 6pm to 8pm. The memorial Mass will be held Thursday, July 10 at 11:00 am at St. Mary’s. Internment of ashes will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Humboldt, TN. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be sent to Hospice Family Care of Huntsville (hospicefamilycare.org) or the charity of the donor’s choice
