Clarice Carter Sharp, 86, went home to be with her Lord on June 29, 2014. Her visitation will be today from 2 to 4 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. She was born September 23, 1927, in Westmoreland, TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Sharp; her parents, George and Ida Mae Carter; her sister, Lillian Hines; and her brother, Clarence Carter.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Cason (Lee) of Birmingham; son, Jimmy Sharp (Debbie) of Decatur; three granddaughters, Karla (Kirk) Dixon of Slidell, LA, Regina Cason of Birmingham and Allyson Sharp of Decatur. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Clarice had many friends and interests in her life. She will always be known for her kindness, and beautiful smile, and her love of animals. To her family, she was the best mother and grandmother.
We thank God for her. Clarice was a lifetime member of Central Baptist Church.
