Mr. Hugh King age 88 of Centre passed away Monday June 30th at Cherokee Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 3 P.M. Thursday July 3rd at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jan Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 P.M. Wednesday.
Pallbearers include Shannon Phillips, Ryan Stouder, Brandon Stouder, Chris King, Brad King, Cody Phillips, Anthony Phillips, Paul Stouder & Jim Brittain.
Survivors include sons, Ronald (Connie) King of Centre and Dennis (Donna) King of Jacksonville: daughter, Linda (Doug) Phillips of Birmingham: 7 Grandchildren, 3 Step-Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
Mr. King was preceded in death by his wife Gladys Weaver King & 7 brothers & 4 sisters.
Mr. King was a native of Menlo, Ga., the son of the late George & Dora May Parris King. He was a farmer and truck driver for Snead Tractor
