williwRev. Willie Denver Box, age 84, of Tuscumbia passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 due to an extended illness. Visitation will be Saturday, June 28, 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home, Florence. Funeral service will be Sunday June 29, 2:00 P.M. at Gray’s Chapel Church in Scotts Hill, TN where he will lie in state from 1:00-2:00 P.M. Interment will be at the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Box was a devoted evangelist preacher, retired from Ford Motor Company, U.S. Air Force veteran having served in WWII, foster care parent of many children and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by his three sons, Phillip Box, Mike Box and Mark Box. Survivors include: Wife of 63 years: Lorene H. Box Daughters: Pam Henson & Amie Box-Spiller Sisters: Gene Mayo & Shirley Ivey Grandchildren:, Amanda, Kevin, Tim, & Ava Box Sonya Byrd & Alanna Addison, Great Grandchildren: Ceb, Andrew, & Shayla Byrd, Chloe & Cole McDonald Spry~Williams Funeral, Florence directing

Service at 2:00 PM at Gray’s Chapel Scotts Hill, Tennessee on Sunday, June 29th, 2014
