Vernell Wingo, age 82, passed away June 25, 2014, at the Russellville Hospital.
The visitation will be held today at Akins Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in Wingo Cemetery. There will be a private memorial service for the family at a future date.
She was preceded in death by parents, Ed and Margie Pratt Dykes, husband, Roy Wingo, brother, Jerry Dykes, and a sister, Tootsie Batchelor.
She is survived by her children, Denise Wingo and wife, Carla, Denell Wingo Clark, Vicki McAlister and husband, Tony, Will Wingo and wife, Heather, and Robert Wingo; siblings, Robert Dykes, Millerene Hargett, Babe Harris, Wanda Flanagan, Anne Hulsey, and Keith Dykes; and three great-grandchildren, Dillan, Kyndal, and Skylar Wingo.
