Flossie Hayes Cunningham, age 101, of Ethridge, TN passed away Monday, June 23, 2014 at her son’s residence in Hendersonville, TN. She was a native of Ethridge, TN, a homemaker, a member of the Eastern Star, Progressive Garden Club, Ro-Ann Club, a Paul Harris Fellow Second Level, and Ethridge United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Leroy “Jack” and Maggie Lena Jones Hayes; her husband, Harry Bryan Cunningham, Sr.; two sisters, Margaret Steele and Irene Owens; and three brothers, Euenn “Bud” Hayes, James Hayes, and Hezzie Hayes.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Ethridge United Methodist Church at 2:00 PM Friday, June 27, 2014 with Billy Beal officiating. Mrs. Cunningham will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at John Lay Cemetery in Ethridge, TN.
