Hilde Kuklak Kuberg, 91, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday. Mrs. Kuberg was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Christopher Harry Kuberg, and her devoted husband, Willi Karl Kuberg, one of the original members of the Von Braun Rocket Team. Mr. and Mrs. Kuberg came to America to pursue education, Christianity, a better life for their family and the American Dream.
Survivors include sons, Dieter, W. Kuberg (Evelyn), Dr. Harry W. Kuberg (Melanie); daughters, Inge K. Zanaty (Louis) and Christel K. Dunn (Dr. Thomas Dunn); eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow in the chapel with Dr. Jimmy Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
A reception will follow at Dr. Thomas and Christel Dunn’s home, 7 Perth Drive, The Ledges, Huntsville, AL 35802.
