Cheryl Diann Moffett was born on April 21, 1949, the daughter of the late James Isaac Fry and Bessie Iulah Brewster, who survives. On December 23, 1969 she was united in marriage to Dennis McKinley Moffett, who survives.
Mrs. Moffett was born in Herrin, Illinois and raised in Michigan. She attended college in St. Paul, Minnesota where she earned her bachelor’s degree and became a Social Worker; later she worked as a Church Administrator and Choir Director. Mrs. Moffett was a member of the House of Mercy Church in Morris Chapel, Tennessee.
Mrs. Moffett departed this life on June 23, 2014 at the age of 65 years, 2 months and 2 days.
In addition to her husband, Dennis, of Savannah, Tennessee and her mother, Bessie Brewster of Hernando, Florida, she is survived by two sons, Randy Moffett of Jackson, Tennessee and Tony Moffett of Lexington, Tennessee; three grandchildren, Abby Moffett and Dani Beth Moffett of Jackson, Tennessee and Ike Moffett of Lexington, Tennessee; and one brother, Ron Fry of Hernando, Florida.
