Funeral service for Eddie Patton, 64, will be Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with O’Neal Taylor officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Saturday, June 28, 2014 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Mr. Patton died on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at his residence. He was born December 11, 1949, in Winston County to Ronald Patton and Stella Jones Patton. He was retired from the U.S. Army as a 1st Sargeant. He served in and is a Veteran of the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart for his being injured in combat. He was preceded in death by his father.
