Alvin Roden – Obituary

Mr. Alvin Roden, age 81 of Centre, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Riverview Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday, June 19th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Wednesday.
Survivors include his daughters, Sarah Roden of Gadsden, Cindy (Nathaniel) Hughes, Jr. of Cleveland, OH; grandchildren, Andrea Roden of Huntsville, Chavonn Hughes and Nathaniel Hughes, III both of Cleveland, OH; great grandchild, Navonn Roden of Gadsden; several nieces & nephews; sisters-in-law, Nora Roden and Johnnie Ruth Roden.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Hugh Roden and William Roden.
Mr. Roden was a native of Dekalb County and was the son of the late Ernest and Zoe Ester Barrington Roden.
