Mark L. Reeves, 55, of Rogersville, died Sunday, June 8, 2014, at his residence.

He was a graduate of Mars Hill Bible School, a veteran of the U.S. Army, retired from the Army Reserves, 450th military police unit, retired from Limestone Corrections, and was a member of the Rogersville Police Department, Rogersville Fire Department, and Rogersville Church of Christ.

Visitation was Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Rogersville Church of Christ. The funeral service will be today at 1 p.m. at the church, with burial in Civitan Cemetery, with military honors. Charles Thompson, Charles Baggett, and Billy Mitchem will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jason Threet, David Haidys, Mark Pelzer, Tim Williams, David Tully, and Billy Mitchem; Rogersville Police Department and Fire Department will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Reedus Reeves. He is survived by his wife, Susan Davis Reeves; daughters, Courtney (Josh) Perkins and Natalie (Lucas McGee) Reeves; grandchildren, Braden and Cooper; mother, Ruth Reeves; and brother, Randy (Dianne) Reeves.

Rogersville Funeral Home is directing.
