Willie Avis Sanders was born November 10, 1929 in McNairy County, TN, the son of the late Willie Roy and Nola Etta Roten Sanders.
Mr. Sanders was united in marriage to Nola Earline Garrett on May 7, 1960. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Michie, Tennessee. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father, and grandfather. His family had a special place in his heart. Mr. Sanders was a farmer, mechanic and past time by building little country churches and log cabins. He always wanted to help anybody and was friends to everyone.
Mr. Sanders departed this life on June 6, 2014 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 84 Years, 6 Months, 27 Days.
He is survived by his wife Nola Earline Sanders; his children, Randall Sanders and wife Marva of Hornsby, TN, Brenda Todd of Ramer, TN, Doris Ingle and husband William Dale of Ramer, TN; four grandchildren, Brandon Todd, Shellby Sanders, Justin Sanders and Caden Sanders; a great grandchild, Lee Todd; a sister, Lavern Knight of Selmer, TN; two brothers, Horace Sanders and wife Sue of Michie, TN and Gerald Ray and wife Barbara of Michie, TN; and special Friends, Colleen Smith, Dorita Bulter and his caregivers and staff of Legacy Hospice.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Sanders was preceded in death by a sister, Else Ruth Schlesser and a brother, James C. Sanders.
