Betty Doris Swinney Rollins Wester, age 78, Spruce Pine, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at Keller Landing.
The visitation will be 5-8:30 p.m. today at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, Alabama. The 11 a.m. funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, Alabama, with Brother Jerome Sherrill and Brother Scott Delashaw officiating. Burial will be in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Elizabeth Swinney, husband, Vestel Rollins, a son, Greg Rollins, and siblings, Norma Horner, Terrie Terry, Houston Swinney, and Welton Swinney.
She is survived by her sons, Lee Rollins and wife, Robin, David Rollins and wife, Gail, and Mark Rollins and wife, Amy; siblings, Vaughn Babics, Jackie Woiwood, Peggy Swinney, and Garry Swinney; brother-in-law, John Terry;
and five grandchildren, Julia Rollins, Josh Rollins, Jessica Rollins, Sarah Rollins, and Grant Rollins.
