Quinton Maxwell Ray, 81, died May 22, 2014. He was born January 17, 1933, in Lawrence County to James Willis Ray and Mary Verda Thompson Ray.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Lois Ray Norman Banks and stepdaughter, Donalynn Jones.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Christine Archie Ray; stepdaughter, Carrie Tenzel Wilemon and two brothers, Gerald (Barbara) Ray of Decatur and Gordon (Sheron) Ray of Moulton.
Quinton was a David Lipsomb University graduate. He worked in sales and served in the U.S. Army. He was an avid University of Alabama fan.
Interment will be by Highland Hills Funeral Home, Nashville, Tenn.
