Mr. Austin Hendrix, who died Sunday, May 25, 2014, at his residence, was born May 15, 1927, in Franklin CO. , to James Harrison Hendrix and Theo Hamilton Hendrix.
He is survived by his wife Jackie Fairbanks Hendrix, two sons, Joe D. White of Decatur, and Mark Hendrix of Hartselle, two daughters, Beth Giardina of Florida and Penny Wood of Decatur, two brothers, Howard Hendrix of Decatur and Joe Hendrix of Huntsville, 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Family will hold a private Memorial service at a later date. Shelton Funeral home is assisting family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
