Donnie Ray Poss, 67, of Rogersville died Wednesday, May 21st, 2014 at his residence.
Visitation will be Saturday from 5 – 7 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Jimmy Cox and David Dobson officiating. Burial will follow in Hurricane Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Payne, Brock Gentry, Robert Poss, Robert Embry, Larry Weathers, Odie Goobsy, Tim Howard; honorary pallbearers will be Glen Boston, Paul Abernathy, Brian Abernathy, Mike McConnell, James Poss and Don Poss.
Mr. Poss was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny & Janie Poss; sister, Jewel Creekmore and brother, Dewey Poss. He is survived by his wife, Kawani Cooley Poss; daughter, Jennifer (J.D.) Payne; granddaughter, Bailey Payne & Nathan Payne; brothers, James (Paulette) Poss and Robert (Myra) Poss; sisters, Bonnie Faye (Glen) Boston and Judy Turner; special niece, DeWanna Hines and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
