Ray Kelly, Jr., 73, of Huntsville, AL, formerly of Glenview, IL, passed away Thursday. He was a wonderful, caring man who devoted his life to finding people who were down on their luck and helping them get back on their feet. Almost immediately following his retirement from UDS/Motorola in Huntsville, Ray began volunteering full-time for the American Red Cross and Friends, Inc. Ray was an active member of Holy Spirit Parish.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years Patricia; daughter, Cathleen Anne Hines (Bo); sons, Raymond Timothy, and Daniel Joseph; granddaughters, Anne Rogers and Sally Cate Hines; siblings, Michael Kelly (Lu), and Mary Jane Thorpe (Don); as well as many loving in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 16th, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 17th, at the church with Father Michael Mac Mahon officiating.
