Ms. Katie Marie Oliver is survived by her daughter Frances McCune of Huntsville, son James Oliver of Athens, 2 brothers: Floyd Johnson of Huntsville, Otis Johnson of Guntersville. She has 10 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 22 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband William Oliver, son in law Clayton McCune, grandson Billy Parker, 2 great granddaughters Kelly Adams and Bobbie Ann McCune, 2 brothers Jessie and James Johnson, 2 sisters Liza Carter and Fronie Johnson.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family, a woman of faith and unwavering love for the Lord. She was loved by many, but loved a lot in her lifetime.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2014 from 12pm until 2pm at Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville. Services will follow the visitation at 2pm in the Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carroll Skipworth officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
