Mr. Stephen Lynn Russell, age 28 of Memphis, Tennessee passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis.

Mr. Russell was born March 16, 1986 to Gary Lynn Russell (Sandra) of Memphis, and Pam Ervin Little of Bolivar, both of whom survive. He lived most of his life in Shelby County and was a member of the Bellevue Baptist Church. He graduated with the class of 2004 from White Station High School and received his certification in heating and air conditioning repair from Moore Technical College in Memphis. Among his hobbies, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his dog, “Rosco”.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by four sisters, Christy Russell of Memphis, Patricia Little of Bolivar, Deanna Thomas of Memphis and Crystal Tankersly of Ramer; his paternal grandmother, Maxine Russell of Bolivar; his maternal grandfather, Norman Ervin of Bolivar; and six nieces and nephews, Alex Smith, Ava Smith, Emma Smith, Noah Tankersly, Josh Tankersly, and Hailey Tankersly.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Shirley Ervin; and his paternal grandfather, L. C. Russell.
