Funeral service for David E. McAnally, 96, will be Friday, May 9, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Valhermoso First Christian Church with Pastor Mickey Johnson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Valhermoso Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 9, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church.
Mr. McAnally died on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at River City Care & Rehab. He was born September 20, 1917, in Morgan County to Luther McAnally and Ruth Chunn McAnally. He was a lifelong member of Valhermoso Springs First Christian Church. He served in the CC Camp in Tishimingo, Mississippi. He was the Night Superintendent for Monsanto Chemical Company until his retirement and was a farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years: Bernice Cryer McAnally, a grandson: Jon David McAnally, two sisters and one brother.
