Robert Henry Hart, 81, of Florence, died Tuesday May 6, 2014, at ECM Hospital. Visitation will be 6pm until 8pm Thursday at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 11 am Friday at the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Florence with Rev. Dewayne McDuff officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mr. Hart was born in Lauderdale County to the late John and Marie Hart. He was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Florence and was a painter and floor finisher. He served his country during the Korean War with the US Army.
Preceding him in death were his brothers, Bill, Joe, and Howard Hart and sisters, Louise and Mary. He is survived by his wife, Nina Murphy Hart; son, Greg Hart; daughter, Carrie Hart Barnett; brother, Jack Hart; sisters, Hazel Sharp and June Stacey; grandchildren, Wendy Danley, Katie Nobles, Raleigh Hart and Greer Hart; great-grandchildren, Kal-El and Silas Nobles.
Pallbearers will be Jason Danley, Jason Nobles, Shannon Haggard, Keith Irons, Carl McCrady and Jerry Sharp.
The family would like to thank and show their appreciation to Dr. Danny McFall and Janice Zeier and Cora Harden, Mr. Hart’s care givers, for their care shown during his illness.
