Funeral services for Mrs. Delta Fields, age 92, are scheduled for 1 PM, Saturday, May 3, 2014 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. Sammy McAdams officiating. Interment will follow in Barren Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Fields passed away Wednesday in Lexington. She was born May 10, 1921 in Henderson County to the late John W. and Vestie Harrell Middleton. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Max Fields, her step-son, Larry Fields, three brothers, Robert, Arlie, and Harmon Middleton, and two sisters, Betty Sue Beecham and Beulah Scott. Survivors include her sister, Maynell King of Reagan, her brother, Harvey (Navelene) Middleton of Lexington, her step grandson, Johnny Fields, and many nieces and nephews.
