Mary Nell Grissom, 55, died Thursday, May 1, 2014, at her home. She was born April 28, 1959, to William Floyd and Bobbie Elrod Rogers. She worked for Big-Bee Manufacturing, Itawamba Manufacturing, and Claude Gable Manufacturing in Saltillo before becoming disabled. She enjoyed flower gardening and fishing.
Services will be at 2 p. m. Sunday, May 4, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Ray Stevens officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Wayne Edwards (Jada Wideman) of Hamilton, AL, and Michael Edwards (Crystal) of Mooreville; one brother, William Floyd Rogers, Jr., of Fulton; five sisters, Peggy Underwood (Troy) of Golden, Brenda Rea (Danny) of Hamilton, MS, and Vernell Smith (Lynn), Virginia Witt, and Barbara Smith (Milton), all of Milan, TN; and two grandchildren, Allyson Edwards and Micah Edwards.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Caroll Edwards, Jr., and Bruce Wayne Grissom; one brother, Billy Wayne Rogers; one sister, Wanda Spivey; and her parents.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Newcomb, Tim Edwards, Greg Edwards, Thomas Rogers, Jason Langley, and James Newcomb.
Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Spivey, Caleb Brown, and Chandler Brown.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p. m. Saturday, May 3, at the funeral home.
