Brooks Expresses Sympathy for Storm Victims, Working with FEMA Officials

photo 1WASHINGTON, D.C.– This morning Congressman Mo Brooks (AL-05) released the following statement in response to yesterday’s severe storms.

 

“Yesterday, the Tennessee Valley faced a series of deadly storms that wreaked havoc

across the Southeast. I am saddened by the loss of life and destruction caused by these storms and will keep these families in my thoughts and prayers.”

 

“A FEMA Liaison Officer is deployed to the Alabama State Emergency Operations Center and is evaluating damage.  I will continue to work with state and local officials to monitor the effects of this storm and help wherever possible.”

 

“I encourage all Alabamians to take extra precaution as reports of possible severe weather continue through today. Please follow the instructions of your local officials and visit the webpage of the Alabama Emergency Management Agency at ema.alabama.gov for more information on how to protect yourself and your family from dangerous storms.”
