Elton Glenn Jones, age 48, of Florence, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014. Visitation will be today from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will be Wednesday, April 23, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Henry Melton Officiating. Burial will be at Center Star Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jason Jones, Chris Jones, Adam Rhodes, Andy Rhodes, David Baskins, and Junior Stockman. Honorary pallbearer is Randy Price.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, J.W. and Sue Jones, and grandparents, Willie and Mamie Jones.
Survivors are his children, Timothy Jones (Loriann), Jamie Marlar, Cody Jones, Kristin Hoffman, and Darryl Beckham; sister, Glenda Hinthorn (Michael); brothers, Jerry Jones (Debra), Mike Jones (Trina), Delton Jones (Sissy), Tommy Jones (Delores), and Bill Jones (Kathy); grandchildren, Tanner Jones, Rhianna Jones, Hayleigh Coggins, Abbie Coggins, Nicholas Baskins, Chandler Kelso; and several nieces, great-nieces, nephews, and great-nephews.
