Graveside service and Interment for J.V. “Jake” Mooney, 67, will be Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 1:00 PM in Forman Cemetery in Florette, AL with Bro Chuck Oden officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Mooney died on Monday, April 14, 2014 at his residence. He was born September 26, 1946, in Morgan County to Joseph Mooney and Sovola Taylor Mooney. He was a farmer, formerly employed by Ms. Ivy Farms. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son: Jimmy Dewayne Mooney.
