Mrs. Martha Virginia Baskins, age 63, of Sheffield, went to be with her Lord Jesus on Thursday, April 10, 2014. Her family will receive friends for visitation today from 5-7 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Pastor Daniel Michael and Pastor Joshua Miller will officiate the service Sunday, April 13, beginning at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Florence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Milford and Elba Wiley.
She is survived by her loving husband of 42 wonderful years, Steve “Bucko” Baskins; sons, Austin Baskins, Chad Baskins, and Jonathan Anderson (Hannah); brothers, Frank Wiley and Richard Wiley; sisters, Dorothy Moore, Elizabeth Shearon Anderson, and Judy Wiley; and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family gives a special thanks to Hospice of the Shoals for all of their love and care.
