Decatur Police Arrest 2 On Drug Charges

decature spice oneDECATUR-On Tuesday, April 8th the Decatur Police Department’s anti-Crime Unit made arrests of 2 for Possession of  Controlled Substances as well as several other charges.  Here is how the Decatur Police Department describe the incident:

“SYNOPSIS OF OFFENSE & ARREST:

On April 8, 2014, members of Decatur Police Department’s Anti-Crime Unit made contact with decature spice 2the residents at 1812-4 Glenn St SW due to numerous complaints of illegal drug use and drug sales over the past few weeks. Officers made contact and identified Victor Wayne Sanford and Eligiah Martrease Sanford who stated that they both lived at the residence.

After further investigation, Officers located a quantity of Synthetic Cannabinoids (Spice), marijuana, prescription drugs, and drug paraphernalia. Both subjects were placed under arrest.

Victor Sanford was placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Illegal Possession of Prescription Drugs. He also had three active warrants for Failure to Appear through city of Decatur where his bond was revoked. He will later be transferred to the Morgan county Jail in lieu of a $3,500.00 bond after the conditions of his warrants through Decatur are satisfied.

Eligiah Sanford was placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He will later be transferred to the Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $3,500.00 bond.”
