Barbara Ann Self, 55, of Elkmont, died Feb. 27, 2014, at her residence. She served in the U.S. Navy and lived in Limestone County for many years.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Kenneth Self; daughters, Nicolette Payne (Jeff) and Lindsay Colbert (Dustin); stepdaughter, Amanda Rager (Brandon); stepson, Nathan Self (Sabrina); mother, Mary Jo Carter; brother, Bob Carter (Marsha); sister, Collins Ledgewood (Alan); grandchildren, Mackenzie, Brianna, Haley, Logan, Colton, Shyanne, John, Orianna, Kaitlin, Harley, Hunter, and Karter; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Miles J. Carter Jr.
A private service was held to celebrate her life.
