Jimmy Arnold Lawson, age 70, of Florence passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014. Visitation will be Friday, April 11, 1:30-3:30 P.M. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The funeral service will follow at 3:30 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Mike Westfall and Rev. Bill Perry officiating. Interment will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Terry Mitchell, Justin Gray, Bill Gray, Wayne Lane, Ronnie Byrd and James Beavers Mr. Lawson was a member of the Pentecostal Church and was retired from Monarch Tile Company. He was preceded in death by his father, John Alec Lawson. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Louise Lawson; mother, Velma Elizabeth Prince Lawson; step-Son, Steve Overton & wife Kim; Sister, Lenis Benefield; brother, Arthur Lawson & wife Ruthie; step-grandchildren, Ashley, T.J. and Conner; several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Crossroads Church.
