Frances Helen Phillips – Obituary

Mrs. Frances Helen Phillips, 86, of Madison, died Tuesday at her residence. Services will be Saturday, 2 p.m., at Christ Presbyterian Church in Monrovia. She will Iie in state from 1-2 p.m. with Cardelia Howell-Diamond and Pam Phillips-Burk officiating. Burial will be in Springfield Cemetery, Rogersville, at 4 p.m.

Mrs. Phillips was born Sept. 2, 1927, in Lauderdale County, Ala. She was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church and a homemaker.

Survivors are son, Garey Phillips, Dover, N.J.; daughters, Sheila Wilburn, Decatur, Ellen Phillips, Madison, and Pam Phillips-Burk, Collierville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Paul Thornton, Tricia Thornton, Jennifer Seifert, Heather Santiago, Melissa Phillips-Homeyer, and Caroline Phillips-Burk; three stepgranddaughters; ten great-grandchildren; five stepgreat-grandsons; one stepgreat-granddaughter; one niece; and special friends that are family, Jim and Wanda Chambers and family, Jim and Mary Cox, and Kim Lovelace. Pallbearers are Paul Thornton, Scott Caldwell, David Phillips-Burk, Chris Sims, Andrew Cascio, and Cale Jacob Rowe. Memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice or Christ Presbyterian Church.
