Hood is celebrating with the “Stars Fell on Muscle Shoals Swampette Tour” on Saturday, April 19. The four-hour tour begins at 9 a.m. in Florence. Climb aboard the trolley of tunes and ride in style to FAME, 3614 Jackson Highway and the Alabama Music Hall of Fame. The Swampette will “take you there” with an insider’s perspectiveon the studios and the musicians who rocked the world with the legendary MuscleShoals sound. AMHOF inductee Spooner Oldham’s star unveiling ceremony is at 11a.m. and tour participants will be at the hall of fame to congratulate him. Better sign up early because these tours sell out very quickly. The cost for the tour is $35, which includes admission to the studios and museum.
