Mr. Jack D. Hilliard, age 89, Phil Campbell, AL, passed away on Thursday, April 3rd, 2014 at his residence.
He was a decorated WWII Veteran with the US Army. He served in the Battle of the Bulge as a Tank Commander.
Mr. Hilliard is survived by his wife, Jessie Hilliard, his sons, Rick Hilliard and Tim Hilliard, sisters, Marie Haynie and Elsie Coleman. Grandchildren Krissy Brown and husband Mike, Allyson Sharif, Tara Hilliard, Houston Hilliard, Jordon Hilliard, and Sarah Hilliard. He also is survived by 3 great grandchildren, Isabella Brown, Garrett Brown, and Ava Sharif.
There will be a private memorial service with the immediate family.
The family would like to extend a special “Thank You” to Kristin and Misty with Southern Comfort Hospice Care for all their compassion and care shown to Mr. Hilliard.
