Mrs. Betty Anderson, 79, of Florence died Wednesday April 2, 2014, in Decatur. Visitation will begin at 10 am Saturday at Greenview Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 11 am in Greenview Memorial Park. Rev. William Brewer will officiate.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of Central Baptist Church and was retired from Colonial Manor Hospital as secretary to the Director of Nurses.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Gene T. Anderson and parents, Fred and Lena Henson Simpson. She is survived by her children, Shelia Bullock (Bob), Jackson, MS, Amanda Anderson, Decatur, AL and Bud Anderson, Florence.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Ester Moore and Melanie Odom for their love and support and always being there for us and our mother.
