Marty Earl Whisman, age 49, of Columbia, SC (formerly of Decatur, AL), died Sunday, March 30, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, Decatur, AL.
Mr. Whisman was born January 6, 1965, in Hamilton, OH, to Joe Bush and Ruby Cain. He was operations supervisor for Sauer Incorporated in South Carolina for 17 years.
He is survived by two sons, Michael Earl Whisman and Marty Lynn Whisman, both of Decatur, AL; one daughter, Jennifer Elaine Whisman of Danville, AL; mother, Ruby Brice of South Carolina; fiancé, Jo Anne Moore of South Carolina; one brother, Clyde Jeffrey Whisman of Alabama; one sister, Jodi Bolan of Alabama; his uncle, Carl Cain of South Carolina; and six grandchildren, Marty Lynn Whisman, Jr., Wyatt James Earl Whisman, David Brody Whisman, Gracie Nichole Whisman, Emily Addyson Boyd, and Annabella Rayne Whisman.
