rubyRuby Cleo Bennett Loden, 97, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014, at the Meadows. She was born December 16, 1916, in Itawamba County to William Franklin and Mary Jane Christian Bennett. She was a factory worker for many years and a member of the Friendship United Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting, watching golf and the St. Louis Cardinals baseball on television, and spending time with her family.

Services will be at 11 a. m. Monday, March 31, at the Friendship United Methodist Church with Bro. Darrell Sanderson officiating. Burial will be in the Friendship Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include two daughters, Virginia Waddle (Jimmy Gray) and Carolyn Long (Johnny); one brother, Travis Bennett; one sister-in-law, Clytee Bennett, all of Fulton; two grandchildren, Cynthia Lesley (Dennis) and Michael Waddle (Lynn); three great-grandchildren, Lawana Thompson (Rodney McDonald), April McDonald (Chris), and Jaleesa Campbell (Ethan); one great-great grandson, Lane Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dago Loden, in 1986; a son-in-law, Jimmy Waddle; a granddaughter, Infant Long; a great-great granddaughter, Karley Rae McDonald; and two brothers, Martin Bennett and Jim Bennett.

Pallbearers will be Michael Waddle, Dennis Lesley, Chris McDonald, Ethan Campbell, Rodney McDonald, and Lane Thompson.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p. m. Sunday, March 30, at the funeral home and thirty minutes prior to the service Monday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Friendship United Methodist Church Building Fund, c/o Nan Long, 645 Hwy. 363, Mantachie, MS 38855.
