Thurmon Harold McKee, age 80, of Tuscumbia, died Monday, March 24, 2014. Visitation will be Thursday, 12-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia. His funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Greg Beasley officiating. Burial will be in Old Bethel Cemetery.
Harold was a native of Tishomingo, MS and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. He served as Fire Chief of Tuscumbia for twenty two years and was preceded in death by his parents, Thurmon and Ola McKee.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, June McKee; sons, Darryl McKee and wife Michelle of Prairieview, LA, Joel McKee, Randall McKee and Keith McKee, all of Tuscumbia; brothers, Jackie McKee of Cherokee and Jimmy McKee of Tuscumbia; sister, Patsy Weaver of Madison; grandchildren, Lori McKee, Kayla McKee and Keith McKee, Jr.
Pallbearers will be Jason McKee, Jonathon McKee, Derrick McKee, Keith McKee, Jr., David Cole, and Sidney Noles.
