Jerry B Flatt, 84 of Taft, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2014, at the Donalson Care Center in Fayetteville, Tennessee.
Born Sunday, September 15, 1929 in Cookeville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Eferd Flatt and the late Essie Mae Burgess Flatt. He was the husband of the late Virginia Rogers Flatt.
He is survivied by a son, Jimmy (Dianne) Reed of Taft, TN, grandson, Chris (Frances) Reed, of Taft,TN, and one great granddaughter, Kaylee Reed, sister Lois Sue Carter, of Sebastian, FL, and special friend, Barbara Coffman, of Taft, TN.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Ralph Flatt, Taylor Flatt and Robert Flatt, sister, Louetta “Charlie” Flatt, and his wife.
A Funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Tuesday at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, with Bro. Dale Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Howard Cemetery, Cookeville, TN.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home.
