DECATUR-Wal-Mart reported a theft of cash by one f its employees.  The Decatur Police Department made an arrest.  Here is how they describe he event:

“SYNOPSIS OF OFFENSE & ARREST: 

On March 23rd of 2014, Wal-Mart reported the theft of cash by one of its employees. The employee was identified as Danielle Hyderia Marie Gill. During the investigation, it was learned that over the course of a week, Gill stole over $500 in cash from a register.

On March 23rd of 2014, Gill was transported to the police department for further investigation. As a result, Danielle Gill was charged with one count of Theft of Property in the Second Degree. She was processed into the Decatur City Jail and then transferred to the Morgan County Jail in lieu of a $2,500 bond.

Theft of property which exceeds five hundred dollars ($500) in value but does not exceed two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) in value, constitutes theft of property in the second degree. Theft of property in the second degree is a Class C felony.”
