Funeral services for Mrs. Rebecca Fay Cogdell, age 68, are scheduled for 11 AM, Friday, March 21, 2014 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sand Ridge Cemetery. Mrs. Cogdell passed away late Tuesday in Parsons. She was born September 29, 1945 in Edith, TN to the late Raymond Ray and Inez Gibbons Gielow. She was a retired school teacher, teaching at Westover Elementary and Caywood Elementary. She was a gifted singer and educator. She loved God and had a joyous faith. She was preceded in death by one sister, LaDora Crocker. Survivors include her two daughters, Felecia (Ron) Potts and Becky (Jeremy) Harkins; her two sons, Chris (Michele) Cogdell and Lee Cogdell; one sister, Jane Bragg; and her precious grandchildren and great grandson that she loved dearly.
